GALAPAGOS
GALAPAGOS ISLANDS, VOLCANOES & CLOUD FOREST
07-24 NOV 2025 • 18 DAYS • 18 GUESTS
Embark on an extraordinary expedition through the Galapagos Islands and Ecuador, destinations celebrated for their unparalleled biodiversity, endemic wildlife and breathtaking landscapes. Journey through the ethereal cloud forest, marvel at the towering Andean volcanoes, and explore the pristine Galapagos Islands- a sanctuary for unique species and natural wonders. This 18-day adventure offers an intimate and immersive experience, showcasing the incredible beauty and diversity of the Galapagos and Ecuador.
Travel to the mist-covered cloud forest on the slopes of the Andean mountains. These forests are bursting with biodiversity and are alive with spectacular bird species such as tanagers, quetzals, manakins, countless hummingbirds, long-wattled umbrella birds, and plate-billed toucans. Watch the incredible mating display of the Andean cock-of-the-rock.
Cotopaxi, the 2nd highest peak in Ecuador, is one of the most prominent and active volcanoes in the Andes, proudly standing 5,987m tall. The surrounding landscape is home to wild horses, deer, hawks, llamas and the Andean condor. Overnight in a charming historical Hacienda. Be in awe of the crisp green landscape, speckled with vibrant blooming flowers, waterfalls, mountains, forest, and lava trails that weave through the pine trees, in the shadow of the snow-capped volcano.
Fly to the Galapagos Islands and embark on our privately chartered yacht for the ultimate exploration of this unique and incredible archipelago both on land and sea. With the absence of natural predators, the abundance of life in and around the islands is astounding. 80% of land birds, 97% of reptiles and land mammals, 30% of plants, and over 20% of marine species are endemic to the Galapagos, found nowhere else on earth. Let our expert guides lead you through the majestic volcanic islands and scenic bays, teeming with awe-inspiring wildlife. The lack of human presence means the wildlife has no fear of humans, allowing for intimate interactions and unforgettable sightings.
For bird lovers, 22 out of the 29 resident land birds in the Galapagos are endemic. Blue-footed and Red-footed booby's, cormorants, albatross, hawks, frigates, doves, flycatchers, herons, crakes, owls, and mockingbirds, to name just a few. Add to this, free-roaming giant tortoises, iguanas, and penguins, with sea lions and fur seals frolicking on the beach. The diverse geology of the islands has created a unique environment and an abundance of life. For marine enthusiasts, expect wonderful snorkelling excursions where you can see large schools of colorful reef fish, get very close to sea lions, and snorkel alongside sharks, rays, sea turtles and if lucky the elusive sunfish.
